Compare and contrast 2

I just finished The Body In the Woods. So I am going to compare it to my old book Origami Yoda. I'm going to start with similarities. One of the biggest similarities is that both book are fictional and mystery. Origami Yoda is about trying to figure out if the paper puppet yoda is real or just a hoax so the main character can find out if a girl would go to the dance with him if he asked her. So the main character Tommy goes through all the people he help to see if he really did fix there problems.

 The Body in the Woods is a darker mystery because it about 3 kids who find a dead body in the woods. It a pretty strait forward title. So they go on the hunt for the kill. 3 girls die before they find the killer. Read the book to find out who killed the girls. 

A similaritie is that both book have a character who doesn't fit in with everybody. Dilwight from origami yoda and Ruby, Alixes, and Nick from The Body in the Woods. Diilwight isn't the one who made origami and before that he was weird. He would were his underwear out of his pant like a super hero and ask people to call him Captain Dilwight.  Ruby had a lot of ideas and loved to explore, but never know how to fit in. Nick as a self confidence problem and Alexis covering for her moms illness. 

So that enough about similarities how about some thing that are different. Well like I saided before The Body in the Wood is a dark mystery with death. Origami yoda is a light hearted story for kids. In origami yoda there is just one person try to figure out the mystery, but in The Body in the Wood there are three kid try to solve the mystery. The Body in the Wood as a lot more twist and turn to make it more exciting. Origami yoda only as about one twist. So that my compare and contrast on origami yoda and The Body in the Wood.

The body in the woods plot

I'm half way through my new book. It has very major events thought the book. The first time is when they discovered body in the wood while looking for someone else. This sets up the story for the three kids. Then the cops came and Ruby one of the three kids who discovered the body think it is a serial killer because a week back a black old women died strangeled like the girl. The cop don't believe her because the two victims are from different races. This may not seem like a connection, but this soon leads to the second major event. At this point in the book the killer as struck again this time an Asian girl. Then when Ruby trying to figure out what the connection is and when she say it out loud  Alexis figures it out. That the killer wants a Collection of each race so then they go looking for a Hispanic girl who is homeless. So that as far has I got.

The body in the wood summary

The body in the wood is a straight forward title. It about three kids with there problems find a body in the woods. The three kids name our Nick, Alexis, and Ruby. They find the body in the woods while in the wood look for another person bob. After Alexis blow the whistle Ruby and Nick come running to see Alexis on the ground and a dead girls. Ruby goes to inspect the body. While Ruby walking slow to the body she noticed a boot print in the floor. Alexis call the forest police and tell them they found a body. When they finally show up one of the Doctor steps on the sheo print and destroyer the evidence. Later that day they say that the girls death was a homicide. Ruby think it a serial killers because a old, poor, black women died a couple day before the girls. The officers ignores her. So then Ruby, Alexis, and Nick go on there own investigation. So that as far as I've got. 

Lemonade

A way I can make different is by doing charity. I could sell candy then donate the money to sick kids.  Could also help by helping at pantrys and help clean up the earth. I also can go out and help people. Like homeless people or I can go and help stop gun violence in Chicago. I could also start a fun rasier and maybe make basketball game between students vs staff. I could go to church and help with there problems. 

The Body in the Woods theme

I just started my new book The Body in the Woods. Even through I haven't finished it I think I know what the the theme is. I readed the back of the book and it talk about three kids names Alexis, Nick, and Ruby. There three kids who each have there own problem. Alexis is all way caring for he mom and never goes out side. Ruby want to go to the outside world, but nobody really understands her. Nick has a self confidence problem. So I think they are going to help each other solve each other problem as they solve the mystery of the dead body in the woods. So I think the theme of this book is going to be is no madder how different you are you should always try to be the best you, but that only my thoughts on the book so far. It mighty be something completely different. 

Lebron James

I just finished my new book Lebron James. It about this super awesome basketball star who rose to the top. It start about how Lebron James started as a little kid. His dad had left and his mom was living with her mother. They moved around a lot. Lebron was natural gifted with basketball. He started his first basketball game on a student vs. teacher match were he made his first dunk. Lebron also loved charity. He often donate a lot of money to kid and homeless shelter. Lebron is also know as the next Michael Jordan. On Micheal Jordan's first pro game he made 16 point, six rebounds and seven assists. Lebron James made 22 points, 11 rebounds, six assists. So Lebron already show just with his first pro game that he going to make it big. I thought it was amazing how he made it to the big leagues at such a young age. It also amazing that Lebron dunk when he was in eighth grade. Im in eighth grade and the best basketball player in my grade can't dunk. So that my thought on Lebron James.  

I'll be finding similarities and difference Al Capone does my shirts and no summit out of sight. One big main similarity is that both story take place in a real place. Al Capone take place on Alcatraz and No Summit Out of Sight takes place on Mount Everest and more. The difference is that Al Capone is that it a fake story or non fiction book. when no summit out of sight is a a true story. Another difference is this about a kid name Moose to make through living on an island with the worst criminals alive. In No Summit Out Of Sight is about a kid named Jordan who is trying to climb all seven summits, but in a way Moose is also trying to climb his own mountain of Alcatraz. what I mean is he is trying to live with the idea of living with criminals. A similarity is that it both about kids trying to survive in bad conditions. Moose try to learn to live in a prison where he feels like a prisoner. Jordan try to survive in ice cold temperature where every step could mean death. So that was my similarities and difference between Al Capone Does My Shirts and No Summit Out Of Sight.          

No summit out of sight plot

I finished reading my new book No Summit out of Sight. It was a pretty good book. Well it basically about a kid who climbs the biggest  Mountains in the world. The mountain I really like reading about was  Mount Everest. Reason is because it had the most action. During Jordan's climb an avalanche happen. It super crazy and he tries to find his dad and almost falls of the leg. It also turn out when he was trying to get his footing he accidentally steps on his dad's head and the spikes on the bottom of his boot hurt his dad's head. My second favorite was mount Denaili. This one is one of my favorite not because of the mountain, but trying to get there. You have to be 14 years old to climb Denali. Jordan was only 11 years old. So he went to court and got a permission. They still didn't let him go. So after arguing they let them go. Then when they got to the checkpoint. They said " this permit is not valid". After more arguing they let them go. When Jordan was at camp one they checked his oxygen levels. They said " if your oxygen level are blow 80 percent he has to leave. It turns out Jordan oxygen levels were 85 percent. Nobody could belive it. They had to send a picture. So that my two favorite area in the book.

No summit out of sight

I've started my new book no summit out of sight. It about a ten year old kid name Jordan climbing all 7 summits. The seven summits are the seven largest mountain in the world. He starts the book with telling the reader what inspired him to climb all seven summits. It was a picture of all seven summits at his middle school. He studied all of them finding all there paths and witch were the hardest and witch were the easiest and how high each are. He climbed his first summit when he was ten. Jordan also loves lizard. He has a bunch at his house. There is a lot of character development in this book. He grow from a kid who could barely handle an hour of hiking to a man who climbs the the seven summits. I feel his first sight of development is when he wants to take more responsibility. So he checks the weather to see if it safe or not and also makes sure they have everything. So that's my book and little bit of character development. 

Anne Frank's adversitys

Anne frank had many adversity. One was when she had to stay in the hiding room and do nothing. I remember when I had to stay at my house all day and do nothing. My mom had left to my grandmas house and I didn't want to go so I stayed home. I was super bored because I didn't have any thing to play with. I didn't get wii yet so all I could do was sit there. It was really boring. Another adversity Anne frank had to go through was that she couldn't use the bathroom all day. I remember when I was at the movie and I had to use the bathroom really bad but I didn't want to miss them movie. So it was super hard holding it in.

They stood around and didn't do anything because they were afraid of the nazis. They also stood aside because they were not Jews so they thought if there not coming for them then there no reason they should get involved. What inspire people to help was when they saw how mean these nazis were. It show how mean the nazis where to make there own people fight against them. Is also showed to other people  zvsbif someone doesn't stop this this will escalate to other people. I would probably stood aside for little till I really learn how mean the nazis were then I would have down something. I probably would have done that parachute squad because I would love to sky dive. 

The Caribbean

I want to go to the Caribbean. The reason is because my parents went there one time and said it was very nice. It had really nice sand and the water was all ways warm. It has an awesome ship ride were you can sail our the Caribbean all day long. It has great food and cool rooms. It also has it own swimming pool. I also want to go jet skiing on the water. I think that would be really fun.

Origami yoda

I just finished my new book Origami Yoda. The book is about a paper puppet made after the Jedi Yoda. Yoda lives on the finger of a student named Dlwight. Tommy the main character of the story tries and find out if origami yoda power is real. The power I'm talking about is people in tommy's school are talking about how origami yoda can see the future and give them advice on there problems. The reason Tommy tries so hard to figure out if yoda's power is real, because he want to ask yoda if a girl named Sara likes him. He want to make sure that he know and doesn't want to embarrass himself in front of his friends specially Harvey.  He read over some case files on kids who taken origami yoda advices to see if it help them. He goes to fun night at his school and ask Sara for a dance. Read the book to find out he answer.

Compare and contrast

I'm going to compare my two books The L eague and Dirt Bike Race. The similarities of these book would be the main characters. The way there similar is Ronnie the main character of dirt bike and Wyatt the main character of the league both have parent that want to do different sport and this starters a bit of conflict between them and there parents. Wyatt wants to be a football player when his dad want to be a golf player. Ronnie wants to be a dirt bike racer, but his dad want him to be a Scobdiving teach. So even though it not the same sport there general issue is the same. They are a few differences. Like how ronnie's parents know he's dirt bike racing and wyatt's parents have known clue that he really play football. Because of this differences read The League it was much more interesting seeing Wyatt and his parents talk about his day as they slowly figuring out what happing. The Dirt Bike Race as a more mystery then The League so you have to think little more to try and solve the case in your head. So that me compare and contrast between my two book The League and Dirt Bike Race.

Badisland

I finished my book Badisland and I see a lot of character development. When I first see the main character Rees he is packing up for a family trip, but as him being a teenager boy he doesn't want to go. His father still makes him go because he doesn't trust him. When they get on a bot they soon get hit with a storm. They ship wreck on a island. As the story continues on you start to see Rees care more about his family and confessed that when they left he was going to run away. His father say he knew already that the reason why he wanted to go on the family trip. I think this show how Rees really feels and this trip had made him feel more open to his family. As Rees travel his parents get kidnapped and he saves them. Him and his family are trap in some head and Rees want to go up stair, but his dad said fine I trust you. They soon learn that the island is an iron giant and it take them to shore. At the end Rees say" can we go on another family trip". This show that Rees grow from anti family kid to someone who like his family. 

New Years

My New Years resolution is to go outside a lot more in the summer because I spend all my days inside and board. The way I'm going to do this is fill my bike tires up with air so I can ride my bike outside. My second way I'm go to go outside more is to go to the park and play basketball with my friends. My third way I'm going to go outside more is by running around the park. Something I'm looking forward to is Batman vs. Superman and Sucide Squad.
